Alexandra

Sitting at the confluence of the Clutha and Manuherikia rivers in Central Otago, Alexandra is a photogenic little town on New Zealand's South Island, set against a backdrop of mountains and surrounded by wine-growing country. Known in Māori as Manuherikia, it sits on State Highway 8, with the historic town of Clyde a short drive to the northwest and Cromwell not far beyond.
