Arys

This rail junction town in Kazakhstan's Turkistan Region, Arys sits where the Trans-Aral Railway meets the Turkestan-Siberia line — a crossing that shaped the town from its founding around 1904 and still drives its economy through locomotive repair and rail-related industry.
