Cabudare

Founded on 27 January 1817, Cabudare is a city in Venezuela's Lara State that has grown rapidly as a commercial and residential extension of the nearby state capital, Barquisimeto. It sits on the Turbio River and hosts the country's largest Traki shopping centre, the Estadio Metropolitano de Lara, and two universities — Universidad Fermín Toro and Universidad Yacambú. Private hospitals including Hospital Internacional and Clínica IDB serve the wider metropolitan area.
