Carora
Venezuela
Carora, a city in Venezuela's Lara State, is home to one of the country's most significant colonial districts — declared a National Monument in 1977 — where cobblestone streets and well-preserved historic mansions spread across several hectares. The colonial zone includes the Cathedral of Carora, the Church of El Calvario, the Church of San Dionisio, and the Balcón de Los Álvarez. The city also serves as Venezuela's principal wine-producing centre, alongside its role in agriculture, cattle ranching, and the arts.
