A UNESCO-recognized marine biosphere reserve off the central coast of Vietnam, the Chàm Islands are a group of eight islands in the South China Sea, reachable from Cửa Đại beach near Hội An. The surrounding waters draw divers and snorkellers to coral reefs and marine life, while the largest island, Hòn Lao, offers sandy beaches and forested hills. Camping and swimming facilities are also available across the islands.
