Cosenza

Walkable southern Italian city in Calabria with a café-dense centre, a historic quarter — Cosenza vecchia — climbing toward the Pancrazio hill, and a scattering of churches throughout. The city's origins stretch back to at least the 8th century BC, and it later served as capital of the Bruttii people before Roman conquest.
