Cremieu

A little medieval town in Isère, southeastern France, Crémieu has preserved its historic centre largely intact and hosts an annual September festival, Les Médiévales, that recreates medieval life. Vineyards surround the town, cafés and restaurants give it a lively feel for its size, and the wider Dauphiné region offers scenic viewpoints and easy access to the mountains east of Lyon.
