El Cocuy

Little Colombian town in Boyacá's Gutiérrez Province, El Cocuy serves as the gateway to El Cocuy National Park and the Sierra Nevada del Cocuy. The historic centre retains its colonial and republican architecture, with cobbled streets and preserved facades. A handful of cafés and restaurants give the town a modest but functional base for visitors heading into the surrounding mountains.
