Falaj al Mu`alla

A waterside area within the emirate of Umm al-Quwain, Falaj al Mu'alla sits in sight of mountains and within reach of UNESCO World Heritage sites in the wider region. Historically a summer retreat for Emiratis, the area was once a source of fresh water for Umm al-Quwain and remains known for its date palms, vegetable gardens, citrus, and mango cultivation, as well as hosting the UAE's first poultry farm.
