Governador Celso Ramos

A coastal town in Santa Catarina, southern Brazil, set against mountain terrain and fronting the sea. Its waters border part of the Marinha do Arvoredo Biological Reserve, a fully protected marine conservation area established in 1990. The local economy was historically built on fishing, though that industry has contracted significantly over recent decades, with seasonal tourism now drawing outside entrepreneurs to the area.
