Hemnesberget
Norway
Tiny village on the Hemnes peninsula along the southern shore of the Ranfjorden in Nordland, Norway, with a working modest-boat harbour and walking access to the water. Hemnes Church, built in 1872, stands here, on a site believed to have served as a place of worship since the 13th century. The village was briefly its own municipality from 1929 until 1964, when it was absorbed into the wider Hemnes municipality.
