Imabari

The Shimanami Kaidō, a scenic cycling and driving route linking Imabari to Ōshima, Hakatajima, Ōmishima, and other islands across to Ōnomichi, makes this Ehime Prefecture city one of Japan's most distinctive coastal destinations. Sitting directly on the Seto Inland Sea in the northeast of the prefecture, Imabari also has a well-developed café and restaurant scene for its size.
