Sitting at the confluence of the North and South Thompson Rivers in south-central British Columbia, Kamloops is a city with a walkable, café-lined centre, scenic surroundings, and a strong claim to mountain biking history — it is often described as the birthplace of freeride mountain biking and is home to Canada's largest municipal bike park.
