Kyrenia
Cyprus
This harbour town on the north coast of Cyprus with a walkable centre dense with restaurants and cafés clustered around the waterfront. The Kyrenia Range rises close behind the town, and several UNESCO World Heritage sites lie within the wider region. The town has been under Turkish military control since 1974 and is administered as part of the self-declared Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, a political status unrecognised by most of the world.
