Leirvik

This tiny Norwegian town on the southern coast of Stord island sits along the Hardangerfjorden with mountain terrain as a backdrop, and carries a café and restaurant scene, a regional museum — the Sunnhordland Museum — and Stord Church among its draws. The regional centre of Sunnhordland, Leirvik also hosts the Kværner Stord industrial area on the Eldøyane peninsula and serves as the administrative hub for the wider municipality.
