Liptovský Mikuláš

A walkable town in northern Slovakia's Liptov region, Liptovský Mikuláš sits on the Váh River with a centre full of cafés and restaurants. It serves as the main base for the Low Tatras, including the Demänová valley's well-known cave systems — the Demänová Ice Cave and the Demänová Cave of Freedom — and lies close to Jasná, Slovakia's largest ski resort.
