A compact town in the mountains of central Greece, Livadeia has a walkable centre with a concentration of historic churches, cafés, and restaurants, and scenic viewpoints in the surrounding terrain. Capital of the Boeotia regional unit, it sits within reach of several UNESCO World Heritage sites in the wider region.
