Nha Trang

Vietnam's most prominent seaside resort city, Nha Trang sits on the South Central Coast with a long beach, a dense café and restaurant scene, and a reputation as the country's scuba diving centre. The Hon Mun marine protected area offshore is among the first sites of its kind recognised by the IUCN. Inland, the ancient Po Nagar Towers survive from the Champa kingdom, which ruled this coast before Vietnamese settlement. A biennial Sea Festival draws additional visitors to the bay.
