Numana

This compact Adriatic village on the Conero Riviera in the Marche region, Numana sits directly on the water with vineyards nearby and scenic viewpoints along the surrounding coastline. Its café and restaurant scene is substantial for a settlement its size, and the area has a strong draw for photography. Known historically as "Humana" on old maps, the village took its current name by royal decree in 1869.
