Oujda

Oujda, the capital of Morocco's Oriental region in the northeast, sits close to the Algerian border and within reach of both the Mediterranean coast and the Beni Iznassen Mountains. The city was designated Arab Cultural Capital in 2018 and celebrated its first millennium in 1994, giving it a long urban history for a Moroccan border city.
