Poco do Canto

A small parish in Portugal's Mêda municipality, set in wine-growing country with vineyards nearby and close to mountains. The hill of Santa Colomba, just outside the hamlet, offers wide panoramic views over the surrounding landscape. The parish also encompasses several smaller settlements, including Cancelos de Cima, Cancelos de Baixo, and Sequeiros. An annual festival in honour of the Holy Spirit takes place seven weeks after Easter.
