This small hamlet in the Ariège Pyrénées of southwestern France, sitting on the Vicdessos river within the Parc naturel régional des Pyrénées ariégeoises. The surrounding terrain rises into mountain peaks, and the area falls within the Sabarthès country, centred on the upper Ariège valley.
