Railay Beach
Krabi · Thailand
Towering limestone cliffs make Railay, a pocket-sized peninsula in Thailand's Krabi province, one of the country's premier rock climbing destinations, drawing climbers from around the world to its vertical faces. Reachable only by boat — the same cliffs that attract climbers cut off all road access — the peninsula divides into four areas: the rustic, climber-friendly Ton Sai; the shop- and restaurant-lined East Railay boardwalk; the luxury-resort-focused West Railay; and Phra Nang, home to a beachfront restaurant at Ao Phra Nang bay.
