Rosh Pinna
Israel
Founded on 12 December 1882, Rosh Pinna is one of the earliest Jewish agricultural settlements established during the First Aliyah and has been continuously inhabited since. Set on the slopes of Upper Galilee near Mount Canaan, this little town has a café and restaurant scene that would suit a town twice its size, with scenic viewpoints across the surrounding highland terrain. The historic synagogue from the settlement's early years still stands, and the wider region is ringed by UNESCO World Heritage sites.
