This small parish village on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River in Quebec's Mauricie region, Saint-Narcisse has a rural character shaped by many 19th- and early 20th-century houses and sits within sight of the mountains inland. The village church holds a statue of its namesake, Saint Narcissus, third Bishop of Jerusalem. Trois-Rivières is a short drive to the south.
