Satun is a town on Thailand's southern Andaman Coast that serves as the gateway to the surrounding islands of the Andaman Sea, including Ko Tarutao, Ko Adang, Ko Rawi, and Ko Lipe. The town sits where the terrain slopes down from two hills toward the coast, with three canals running through it. It is also home to the Satun National Museum, housed in the Kuden Mansion, and a central mosque.
