Shchūchīnsk

This northern-central Kazakhstan town sits on Lake Shchuchye, with mountains visible from the surrounding area, and serves as a base for the Burabay resort region. Founded in 1850, it is the administrative centre of Burabay District in Akmola Region and the hub of a large agricultural area.
