Silifke

A city on the Göksu River in Turkey's Mersin province, Silifke sits close to where the river meets the Mediterranean, with the Taurus Mountains rising nearby. Its walkable centre has a good spread of cafés and restaurants, and the surrounding countryside along the riverbanks adds to its appeal.
