Sillian
Austria
This tiny market town in Austria's East Tyrol sits in the upper Pustertal valley near the western edge of the region, at over a thousand metres elevation, and records more annual sunshine hours on average than anywhere else in Austria. A handful of cafés and restaurants serve the village, and an unusual number of churches dot the area for a settlement this size. The Drau river runs through, and the surrounding mountains are close at hand.
