Springfield

A mid-sized Ohio city where Buck Creek and the Mad River converge, Springfield sits at the trailhead of the Little Miami Scenic Trail, a paved rail-trail running nearly 80 miles south toward Cincinnati and popular with cyclists and hikers. Buck Creek State Park and its reservoir lie at the city limits. Springfield is also home to Wittenberg University and Clark State College, and sits roughly halfway between Columbus and Dayton on Interstate 70.
