Berkak

Every August since 1986, Berkåk hosts Rennebumartnan, a large annual fair for traditional crafts and handmade goods drawing around 150 exhibitors. The village sits in the Orkladalen valley along the river Orkla in Trøndelag, with the E6 highway and Dovrebanen railway both passing through, making it an accessible stop in mountain terrain. Kunstsenteret Birka, the national centre for arts and crafts, is also based just south of the village along the E6.
