Chinchilla de Montearagón

Declared a historic-artistic ensemble, Chinchilla de Montearagón is a medieval-plan hill town in Albacete province, rising on the Cerro de San Blas to command wide views over the Manchegan plain. Its monuments include a castle, town walls, the church of Santa María del Salvador, the Convento de Santo Domingo, and a National Ceramics Museum. The town also hosts a Holy Week tradition recorded since 1586 and a Classical Theatre Festival, with cafés and restaurants in its little central core.
