Hartberg
Austria
A little Styrian town in southeastern Austria with a café and restaurant scene that would suit a town twice its size, Hartberg sits in wine country with scenic surrounds and a long history — a prehistoric settlement on the Ringkogel dates to the 3rd century BC, and the town was first recorded as a city in 1286. The Gmoos, a protected moorland reserve, lies within the town's bounds. Graz is a short drive up the A2 Autobahn.
