Llanes

Little coastal town on Asturias's eastern Costa Verde, Llanes sits between the Cantabrian Sea and the limestone ridge of the Sierra del Cuera, with the Picos de Europa mountains close to the south. Its compact centre is well supplied with cafés and restaurants and holds several historic churches, while the surrounding coastline — part of a stretch known for white sand beaches and dramatic scenery — draws regular visitors with cameras.
