Stoupa
Λακωνία, Μεσσηνία · Greece
A pocket-sized coastal village in the southern Peloponnese's Mani Peninsula, Stoupa draws visitors to its beaches — Stoupa and Kalogria — and carries a literary connection: Nikos Kazantzakis lived in the area while writing Zorba the Greek. The village has a modest café and restaurant scene for its size, and the wider region holds UNESCO World Heritage sites. Kalamata lies a short drive to the north.
