Strumica

Strumica is a town in southeastern North Macedonia with a compact, walkable centre dense with cafés and restaurants, sitting near the point where North Macedonia, Bulgaria, and Greece meet. The Strumica River runs through the city, which also has an ancient hilltop fortress known as Tsarev Kuli. Mountains rise close to the town, and the Bulgarian border crossing at Novo Selo is a short drive away.
