Castrojeriz

One of the more substantial stops on the French Way of the Camino de Santiago, this small Burgos village in Castile and León sees the pilgrimage route pass through it for well over a kilometre. It has a modest but functional spread of cafés and restaurants that serve the steady flow of walkers, and the wider region holds UNESCO World Heritage recognition connected to the route.
