Kurozweki
Poland
A 14th-century palace open to visitors anchors this south-central Polish village on the Czarna Staszowska river, with a bison farm on the grounds and a 15th-century church nearby. Kurozwęki held town rights from before 1400 until 1870, and in the 17th century was a centre of Calvinist Reformation in the Sandomierz region. A marked walking trail passes through the village, which also has a long history as a stud farm.
