A Lower Silesian town in south-western Poland with nearly a thousand years of history, Świdnica is home to the Church of Peace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Cathedral of St. Stanislaus and St. Wenceslaus, both listed as Historic Monuments of Poland. The preserved Old Town holds several Gothic and Baroque churches alongside a walkable food-and-drink scene.
