Teresópolis

A mountain city in Rio de Janeiro state, Teresópolis sits at high elevation and serves as the main gateway to Serra dos Órgãos National Park, whose boundaries extend into the city itself. It is also home to Granja Comary, the Brazil national football team's training ground. A large craft fair with hundreds of exhibitors, several historic churches, and a cooler climate than the coast round out the city's appeal.
