Voitsberg

A tiny Styrian town in Austria with a good café and restaurant scene for its size, Voitsberg sits on the Tregistbach river in a former mining area of western Styrian hill country. First mentioned in 1220, it retains remains of Greisenegg palace and Obervoitsberg castle, and its city hall was designed by architect Arik Brauer. The wider region has UNESCO World Heritage sites nearby.
